Description:	Concert in memory of Suzie, whose husband George was in the choir for many years. In aid of the hospice that looked after her. George Writes (as printed on flyer): "My wife, Suzie, decided she would like to spend her final days in a hospice and asked the palliative care nurse to try and find her a place. The nurse said it would take weeks, but three days later, St Raphael’s phoned to say they had a bed available that same day. I was amazed to see Suzie was given her own room with a bathroom, a view and French windows onto a pretty garden that she could walk through. I have never seen a more friendly yet efficient place. All the nurses, kitchen and cleaning staff were polite, helpful, cheerful, kind and respectful towards my wife and the charming cook made special efforts to make food for Suzie that she would enjoy. St Raphael’s Hospice is there for Merton and Sutton residents, and we are very fortunate such places exist. To my surprise I found out it was free, and that only 25% of the cost is funded by the NHS. With this concert, in memory of Suzie, I’m aiming to raise £2,000 for St Raphael’s, and invite you to help as much as you can to support its amazing work. Yours, George Tudor-Hart"
